CPSU - First Stint
I joined the CPSU on my second day at the Australian Taxation Office. I was there for a decade and always appreciated my Union membership. I didn't need it at any point, but knowing it was there let me push back on a lot of bullshit I would have otherwise tolerated as a junior employee.
Rating: 9/10.

No Union
When I have been self-employed, I have not so far remained a member of any union for very long. While I do appreciate Union membership, I have not considered it thus far necessary to remain a member while I wasn't working as an employee in that industry.
